A Screaming Man

This film throws light on the delicate, complicated and fragile bonds between a father and son whose relationship survives through the vicissitudes of time.

Adam, an erstwhile swimming champion takes up the job of a security guard of a swimming pool at the lavish N’Djamena Hotel. Though this menial job doesn’t match his former profile, it is enough to make the two ends meet. While tranquility seems to creep into his life, Adam receives the worst shocker of his life, when his son Abdel is given his job! While the father-son duo is confronting a situation that threatens to shatter their relationship, a significant development on the national arena is on its way.

With the dark clouds of civil war hovering over them, Adam is compelled to send Abdel to the warfront since his penniless state doesn’t allow him to make any monetary contribution. Once again, life draws Adam in a bizarre state of affairs, when Abdel’s girlfriend appears, expecting Abdel’s child. Keeping everything aside, Adam springs into action to rescue Abdel from the battle field and bring him back home. The father and son finally reconcile, but perhaps it’s too late by then.
