This darkly funny movie follows the life of a convicted gangster, Ulrik (Stellan Skarsgard) , who is a somewhat gentleman. Directed by Hans Moland, the movie tells the story of the sensitive mobster, who has spent more than a decade in prison on charges of committing a murder.

Reluctant to come out of the prison, Ulrik arrives in a world that has changed much in the last 12 years. Sporting a beard, with a receding hairline to boot, he cuts a funnily sad figure amidst the drifters, his gang mates, his ex, a few new women, his son and of course, a grandson, who is on the way.
