Cell 211

Juan Oliver joins as a prison officer but ends up becoming a prisoner. This transformation was more situational than it was intentional.

The excitement for the new job brought him to the prison a day early. An accident occurs, he goes unconscious, and before he realizes, he is in Cell 211. It was a temporary stay, arising out of the necessity to keep him in good health. But the momentary stay becomes a supposed behavior of the future. His future dons a dangerous look when his life becomes dependant on how well he can act. A group of convicts – led by Malamadre – attack the prison and take hold of the guards. If Juan says who he is, his fate would also become thaat of the other prison officers. He joins the league of the crooks posing as one of them. But how long can he do that? And what will he do while acting as a prisoner? He disagrees with the prison officials over their take on Malamadre’s demands, and speaks in favor of Malamadre. His life changes completely when he learns that his pregnant wife has been murdered by one of the prison guards!

He becomes rancorous and kills Utrilla, the guard responsible for his wife’s death. He joins the prisoners with full conviction thereafter and it all comes down onto the climax, which promises to straighten things out completely. But what is the climax? That’s for you to find out!
