‘Change of Plans’, which shot to fame as Le Code a Change, is a superb comedy, centered on ten friends. The film is set at a time, which is in accordance with the way that relationships are continuously losing their strength.
The film shows how, upon being invited over dinner, for a get-together of sorts, these ten people begin faking their worries and discontents for pleasure and bliss. But as it is said, more often than not, realities of life cannot be shied away from, for long. The same thing is what happens at the dinner party, when in very little time, almost all of them start revealing that none of them is happy with his or her better half. When relationships go sour, almost everyone seeks the company of others, if at all it is possible for them to do so. If one was to look for the company of another partner, then, a gathering of 10 people is certainly not a small one to be used as a resource. Hence, most of these so-called happily married people start building bonds with partners of others, and intend to bid adieu to their current partners as well as, to the mutual problems. While there are some, who still stay faithful to their spouses, even they agree to the fact that they require to seek the company of others, of the opposite gender.
The film shows all this in a remarkably hilarious manner, which is bound to make everyone laugh their hearts out.
