Cowboy and Aliens is a thrilling science fiction movie that unleashes an adventure-packed tale that starts with the invasion of a desert town named Absolution by the aliens.

The only impediment between the aliens and their mission of destruction is a group of cowboys, who step in the way of this extra terrestrial force, rendering the mission unsuccessful. To aid these cowboys, is a man who faced desolation and rejection by the entire town when he first stepped in Absolution. He remains unaware of the powers that he possesses until he’s provoked to use them. His obliviousness follows the fact that he’s experienced a memory loss, due to which he remembers nothing about his past or identity. The only clue that links him to the reality that he’s left behind, is the mark of a ring around his wrist. When this stranger wanders into Absolution, he’s taken aback by the terror that prevails in every nook and corner of the desert town. He soon realizes that nothing can happen in the town without the consent of the man who’s at the helm of authority, Colonel Dolarhyde.

The town, which is shrouded by dread, and which has no space for a stranger who can’t even remember who he is, soon witnesses a complete transformation, after the overbearing threat of the aliens. These unknown forces manage to bring each of the inhabitants of Absolution close to each other, as they join hands in this struggle to survive.
