Staten Island has for long been hyped for an infamous deed! They say that the island is full of creepy things all around.

One thing that has certainly left an impact in the minds of people residing there is the fact that children start disappearing during the nights. While other children in the world have grown up hearing the tales of Hook and Cinderella, kids of the Staten Island have learnt only about the devil 'Cropsey'. Filmmakers Joshua Zeman and Barbara Brancaccio who've spent their childhood in Staten Island much to describe the impact of the whole situation, are no different. The film takes you to the year 1987, where the tales of Cropsey took the form of reality. As it was always known, Cropsey was an escaped psycho. It was believed that Cropsey gets into action during the nights, wherein he scratches the people on the streets and kidnaps the kids. The fact became a reality when Jennifer Schweige, a thirteen year old kid went missing. And as others could have guessed, it was Cropsey who was behind this dreadful act. What next? There were a series of unanswered questions coupled with vague beliefs coming to life.

Four kids along with Jennifer never came back and probably never will! What can be their possible whereabouts? And how is one sure that it’s the escaped psycho behind all of this? The year 1987 was truly fear-provoking, at least for the natives of The Staten Island, and also for those who proclaimed the absence of Cropsey!
