Dance Flick

“Dance Flick” is an action-packed comedy, directed by Damien Wayans.  The movie is all about a suburban fortunate girl Megan (Shoshanna Bush), who takes a leap to inner part of the city, as she desires to bring improvement in her weird dancing moves. Megan, after reaching Julliard, aspires to become a professional dancer. But unfortunately, on the day of her dancing audition, she gets to hear the news that her mother’s soul has departed to heaven in a disastrous accident. Thus after losing her mother, Meghan has to live with her underprivileged father, who resides in a faraway city and is living a sub-standard life in a depreciated house. After she starts living with her dad, she gets admission in a high school named ‘Musical High.’ She makes new friends including Thomas (Damon Wayans Jr.) and Charity (Essence Atkins), at that school. But as Megan is feeling highly depressed over her mother’s death, she relinquishes dancing. Then Dance Flick video details how all friends of Megan provoke her to join a street dance group. Then Megan joins hands with Thomas to struggle hard and polish her dancing skills, to seize victory in a local dance contest.
