Death of a Virgin traces the story of May, a young Canadian woman, who takes a drastic step in an attempt to bring her messed up life back on track.

May hopes for her the erosion of her tragic past and sets out to attain the peace that she’s been hoping for. She journeys to a desolate town, known for its spirituality, where she denounces all her past beliefs, and joins in with a group of nuns. Little does she know that the decision that she’s taken, heralds a series of events, which will change her life forever. She finds herself in the middle of a perilous mystery, the answers to which lie in the eerie dreams that begin to haunt her. She dreams of murders that haven’t occurred yet, and somehow connects them with the paintings of Caravaggio. When these murders really begin to occur, she realizes how intense the entire situation is. Her terror intensifies, when the nightmares become a part of her daily life and a ghost begins to haunt her during the daytime.

Unknowingly, she unravels a deep and well-kept secret that’s connected to the town, and that comes with an answer to all her questions. Will the discovery of this mystery be enough to bring an end to the gruesome murders? Or will she also fall victim to the gore-laden hands of the criminal behind it all?
