Well, the title is pretty suggestive, isn’t it? In the modern day world, these are the two most widely abused things. One is a way to temporary bliss, while the other is a source of power and pride.
Directed by Michael J. Dean, this movie probes into the inside story of the gun and weed market and the people running this business. The movie questions the right of individuals to keep firearms in the name of self defense while abusing their rights to meet their selfish motives. The case of weed is pretty much the same. Known to have medicinal qualities, the substance is misused to be sold as a narcotic drug instead. The director calls it, both completely immoral and unethical. The movie searches the pages of the American constitution to locate the issues, related to these two greatest adversaries of human rights in present date. The role and authority of police is also examined and questioned.
The movie runs through showcasing the virtual war of sorts against drugs raised by the hopeful few. It also gives a perspective as to how the two-party American System has helped these two forces to grow in magnitude. A brilliant movie overall!
