This sequel takes one into the surreal world of penguins and their woes and causes of elation. These aquatic, flightless, plump in size birds, confront loads of issues that crop up in their lives, literally keeping them on their toes.
Mumble is back again to enthrall us with his affable antics. This time around, Mumble is not alone, and is accompanied by his mate Gloria, and their son Erik. Quite unexpectedly, it’s not quite a happy family as there’s something about Erik that perturbs the parents as well. Erik is striving hard to carve his own niche in the kingdom, and emerge with an identity to reckon with. Erik is mired with an inhibition that stops him from tapping his feet and dance. This hesitation soon turns into an inferiority complex when Erik confronts The Mighty Sven, a penguin who can very well fly. Another challenge befalls Mumble when he was least expecting it!
Giant Lord Petrel comes forth with his sinister motives sending tremors across the penguin world. The current crisis requires all the members of the penguin family to come together, battle against the odds and fight the menace to emerge as victors, something that’s rather quintessential of them.
