Harry is haunted by dreams that signal the coming of Voldemort. The plot of this one is racy from the very beginning as the Death Eaters wage an attack on everyone, who’s gathered to watch the Quidditch World Cup.
Hogwarts declares the hosting of Triwizard Tournament that would see students from different magic schools competing for the trophy. Harry has a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Mad-Eye Moody, an ex-Auror! Meanwhile, someone puts Harry in a fix by nominating him for the tournament. Even Dumbledore doubts Harry now, as he isn’t “of age.” Although unwillingly, Harry takes part in the tournament, where death and things much more sinister, await him. Fellow Hogwarts student Cedric Diggory is the favorite, as Harry becomes the target of Ron’s jealousy. Hermione has a hard time, getting the two to talk. As Harry surges ahead in the competition, it gets only tougher. Meanwhile, its more action in the classroom as Mad-Eye teaches them spells that are forbidden. Cornelius Fudge, who worked for the Ministry of Magic, is found dead by Harry in the school grounds.
Ron is all the more jealous as Hermione is befriended by Viktor Krum, favorite from another school. What other than the trophy, awaits Harry? Would he emerge as the champion?
