Heartless  is a Drama/ Fantasy/Horror movie, directed by Philip Ridley. The story of this movie centers on Jamie, a disturbed youthful man with a heart-shaped birthmark on his face.

He begins living all to himself, afraid, and hardly interacts with others. The area where he lives is conquered by a frightening gang; this accidental aggression leaves Jamie so disillusioned that he feels that the entire globe is worthless and horrible. One day his mother is murdered by demons in a vicious assault. He thinks it to be an act of one the gangs. After the death of his mother, he realizes that he can no longer keep himself away from the reality and finally swears revenge and turns vigilante. But the outer world is far more frightening than he ever imagined. Heartless is a fantastic blend of Horror, Drama and Fantasy.
