Honey 2

The original Honey, whom you saw in the first version of the movie, was a dancer par excellence. Honey’s mother meets a young seventeen-year-old, named Maria, in whom she finds solace, as she rediscovers her daughter.

Maria too is an ace dancer and both of them start living together, with Maria going out to work and Honey’s mother looking after the house. One day, out at a night club, Maria discovers that she has an abundance of talent pent up inside of her. Soon, she comes across another character in the story, Brandon, who wants her to train a set of very talented, but rowdy lot of dancers. She takes up the challenge of training these dancers and bringing them to the fore. She is also discovered by her previous boyfriend, Luis, who urges her to come back into the world of dancing and back to her passion for dance. She realizes that dance is an inseparable part of her life and soon takes up the assignment of training a troop of dancers, who have to perform for a television program named ‘Dance or Die’. Maria’s stints at dancing, followed by some wonderful dance performances, will set your feet tapping.

Her versatility and her great sense of dedication to the art, astound the audience, who is mesmerized and left gaping, as she moves her body gracefully on the stage. The movie is a must watch for all those people who love dancing and also those who appreciate good cinema and want to go out and have a good time.
