How to Live Forever? Who can better answer that question than a man who has reached the age of 101 years? Meet Buster, the chain-smoker who loves to binge on a mug full of beer.
Director Mark Wexler peeks into the life of Buster and many more like him, including an elderly porn star and a 94-year-old yoga instructor, in his quest for immortality. After his mother’s tragic death, he’s inspired to find the secret to eternity. His search takes him on a rather queer journey, as he steps into a world of eccentricities. His journey is packed with questions on human existence, its purpose and the inevitability of its end. While Mark sets off to prepare a documentary that will hold the secret to attaining a forever-life, somewhere down the lane, his purpose shifts to something far more profound and practical, as he begins to muse over why exactly we’re all here and how we can make the most out of it.
The movie brings together a wide variety of thoughts from people who claim to have cracked the code, as they revel in the lifestyle that they’ve adopted. As we watch all these elderly people living a life that’s miles apart from ours, we can’t help wondering whether we’re all headed to that point. And if that’s where we’re going, then why are we so engrossed in the useless details and endless troubles of our present day lives? Why can’t we begin celebrating life right now? Why do we have to wait till we’re senile and nearly at the end of it? These are all the questions that Mark attempts to answer in this thought provoking documentary!
