I Am Love

‘I Am Love’ is a twisted tale of relationships, with a woman named Emma, as the main character. Emma is initially shown as a young beautiful woman, dwelling in Russia.

A man named Tancredi Recchi falls for her and what follows is Emma’s running away from homeland, with the dreams of spending a successful married life with her lover. While things do not turn out exactly the way she wanted them to, she gets hitched to the heir of a wealthy Milanese brood. This family has industries of its own and is way too rich. Also, apart from being wealthy, Emma becomes the mother of 3 successful children, all of whom are well bonded to her. She is not sad or regretful about the way her life has shaped up, but there is something that she feels is missing. This something is the sole reason behind her being unsatisfied with her life. Very soon, she bumps into a young man, who works along with one of her kids. She falls for him in a very short amount of time and what follows is their completely unusual love affair.

The man is many years younger to her and works as a chef. His name is Antonio, and this affair happens almost 20 years after Emma decided to flee from Russia. What fate has in store for her is something which lies in the movie, I Am Love itself.
