The thriller movie Impulse Back stands apart from all other masterpieces of the same genre because of its theme. It tries to answer a very simple question as to why some people have the killer instinct in them.
Riley Cole, the protagonist of the movie finds out that he has been deliberately made a killer by an injection called Ira. The life-changing dose of medicine is meant for dehumanizing somebody, so that he or she could take to killing without thinking about the ramification of it on life. Impulse Black tries to draw a conclusion that all the brutal political and military leaders of the world must have been injected with the dose of Ira during their birth, so that they could overlook their moral-thinking capability. What made President Harry Truman to give a nod for bringing in devastation in two major cities of Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Was he injected with something like Ira during his childhood? May be or may be not!
This thriller keeps things open-ended and Ira is a medium to bring to light the destructive, inhuman, and deranged instinct of heinous mass murders. Hook to Impulse Black to get exposed to the mind-blowing amalgamation of the facts of political history and fiction.
