Invictus

Invictus is a biography, drama, history and sport movie, created by famous actor-director Clint Eastwood. The movie is based on a book named ‘Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Changed a Nation’. The movie depicts the inspirational story of how Nelson Mandela, tied his forces with the captain of South Africa's rugby team. It is one of the initiatives of Mandela, which helped the country forget the hostility between the whites and locals. The movie is set against the backdrop of the period of apartheid. It paints a picture of all those conditions which occurred at the time when Nelson was appointed the president of the country. He tried out various ways to unite the country to avoid all racial and economical divisions, and these included language and sport. The plot takes a crucial turn when the match between two opposing groups takes place. Morgan Freeman will be seen in the role of Nelson Mandela whereas Matt Damon will be playing the role of François Pienaar, captain of the rugby team.
