John Rabe

John Rabe  is a Drama/History/War movie, directed by Florian Gallenberger. It is based on the true story of a German entrepreneur, John Rabe who saved many inhabitants during the “The Rape of Nanking” in China. This prompts John to use his Nazi party membership to construct a Safety Zone in the city. A race against time starts as the Japanese plot to destroy this safe zone. And then the Nanking Massacre takes place which continues for eight weeks. During this assault, the Imperial Army of Japan is shown brutally killing prisoners and civilians, women and kids are also not spared.
