Jon Sloan is a man, whose life has been marred by deficiency of women. All his attempts to find a woman, who he could love and who in turn would love him, has been a journey riddled with failures.
He is a lonesome, lost man, who has had a troubled childhood. When he was a kid, he had developed an imaginary friend, Blackie. Blackie always used to drive him mad, thrusting him into a path, where his sociopathic nature would take the centre stage. While growing up, Jon somehow managed to keep his imaginary friend away. With his life now resembling one of a complete loner’s, Jon’s imaginary friend Blackie resurfaces and starts taunting him. Jon slips into the struggle to find his own identity, which has become quite strange and unknown to him. He is writhing hard to break free from the forlorn life that seems to have encapsulated him completely. Soon, Jon finds that the sociopath in him has come out, and is all set to create havoc in the lives of local girls.
The film Jon has been churned out of those characters that director William Instone says have visited him in his life. Some of the incidents that took place in William’s life have been source for those in the film. Keeping itself away from diving into the usual slasher film genre, Jon manages a good ride, one that promises and then delivers an eerie atmosphere.
