Kisses

‘Kisses’ is a romantic drama film that revolves around two young kids, Dylan and Kylie. Both of them have a similar story to share. They live in the same neighborhood and the fact is that both Dylan and Kylie are given a harsh treatment by their family members.

Dylan is just eleven years of age and lives with his alcoholic father. His father knows no other job than to consume alcohol all day long. At nights, the situation gets worse, as he gives a piece of his mind to Dylan, with no fault of his. Dylan is just like his father’s punching bag. So, whenever his father is upset, Dylan is the obvious ‘cause’. Dylan often feels trapped in his vague frustrations, and at times, feels helpless to the core. On the other hand, Kylie, aged ten, is a victim of mental and physical abuse by her family members. One day, when the situation goes out of control, Dylan thinks of an idea. He now believes that escapism is the only way out of this problem. And so, he plans to run away in a clandestine way, to an unknown place. When he shares the idea with his friend Kylie, she, at once, readily plans to run away with him.

Both of them take the help of a sailor and reach Ireland. Dublin is the new place of freedom and seems truly appealing to the both of them. They love it at first, but later realize that the idea is not as interesting, as it seems. They unleash the demons that prevail in the other side of life!
