Directed by Zack Snyder, the film is based on the widely acclaimed books of Kathryn Lasky. Snyder has made his animation debut through this film. The story revolves around Soren, a young owl, who is fascinated by the stories of Guardians of Ga'Hoole, as narrated by his father. The Gaurdians of Ga’Hoole are a legendary band of warriors, who fought bravely against the evil Pure Ones to save the entire owl family. Soren dreams of joining these brave warriors. His elder brother is quite jealous of the attention and love Soren gets from his father, so one day during their fights they end up falling from their treetop house into the trap set by the Pure Ones. However, Soren and some other young owls make a daring escape from the clutches of the evil ones and go on a wild search for the home of the legendary Ga’Hoole warriors. These warriors are their only hope of saving the owl kingdom from the evil designs of the Pure Ones. Will Soren succeed in finding the warriors and saving the owl kingdom?
