Milk Money is all about what a man can do, when he has the right kind of belief, right amount of determination and almost perfect sense of understanding as to where to look and where not to look, when times of crisis hit your loved ones.
Banneker, played by Big Spence in the action film, is a youth, driven by thoughts of love and prayer. He has always turned towards prayers whenever his life had seemed to run out of good luck. He does the same when his aunt is diagnosed with cancer. But if life’s toughest situations could be dealt with by mere joining of hands and murmuring prayers, this world would be a lot easier place to live in. It doesn’t, and that’s exactly what Banneker comes to realize days later, when her aunt’s condition hardly sees any improvement. But he is not ready to leave matters into God’s hands; he sets himself out to find a solution.
His friends D Rock and Q make him look at the most effective form of THC, a chemical most effective in curing cancer – Milk. This is where the film picks up pace. The film isn’t as much about what a man would do when faced with a grave situation, as it is about his take on matters that are out of his boundary. It shows how a man can handle difficult situations, with the conviction he shows.
