Mother's Day

The motherly love knows no limits. It switches to the protective mode with the first sign of trouble for the offspring. This twisted tale revolves around the theme of crazed love that a mother has for her outlaw sons. The movie is a remake of a 1980 film with the same name.

A happily married couple, Beth and Daniel Sohapi, purchase a new house and in order to mark the event, organize a birthday party. Little do they know that the things will take an ugly turn, when the couple along with their guests, are invaded by the Koffin brothers, who are on the run. The trio claim to be the sons of the previous owner. Unaware of the fact that their mother sold off the house, they take the house members hostage, until the matters are cleared. The mother, accompanied by her daughter, Lydia, arrives at the house to take things in their own hands.

This twisted crime thriller takes sharp turns as people keep on making wrong choices which lead to a horrifying climax. The gritty tale is about the confrontation between two families and the new revelations which keep the movie going in the most engrossing fashion. The horror thriller is dangerously engaging, and keeps the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the movie. The director has keeps the cards close to his chest in maintaining the mystery of the story. The entire star cast has done a commendable job in bringing the characters to life.
