Mr. Popper's Penguins

Mr. Popper’s Penguins is an adaptation of the popular children’s book by the same name, written by Richard and Florence Atwater. The movie worked by Mark Waters, has Jim Carrey in the central role of Mr. Popper. He is a stereotypical businessman for whom, the world starts and ends at the office.

He knows nothing about how a laidback life is lived, and the word ‘imperfections’ is non-existent in his life. That’s when he gets a set of new companions, six penguins, who turn his life upside down. Mr. Popper’s flawless lush mansion is soon converted into a messy penguin perch, which is anything but, orderly. The penguins teach him a lesson that no one could ever teach him - a lesson of how a simple life can be much more fun, that a complicated one shrouded by endless responsibilities. The penguins go on to play the role of a family for Mr. Popper, and watching them he learns about all the things that really matter in life-relationships, companionship, love, compassion and togetherness.
