Ondine

It is a poetic modern fairy story that revolves around an Irish fisherman Syracuse (Colin Farrell). One day, his life gets changed, when he is catching fish and by he catches a good-looking and strange woman (Alicja Bachleda) in his net.

She calls herself Ondine that means she belongs to the sea. Annie (Alison Barry) who is a fisherman’s daughter believes that it some kind of sea creature or selkie but Syracuse develops feelings and falls madly in love with her. In the Celtic saga, it is believed that seklie can become a woman if her seal coat is removed from her body and be transformed again to seklie by putting the coat back on her.

Annie thinks that she has moved on land to live for 7 years and she believes that she can utilize selkie-wish for her treatment of Annie's kidney failure. Syracuse used to get the benefits as when Ondine sings a song, the fishing net gets filled with an unbelievable number of fish. Will Ondine be with him for ever?
