Rampart

Here is a vivid picture of the Rampart scandal that took place in the late 1990s. This scandal exposed all those cops of the Los Angeles Police Department, who soaked themselves in corruption, robbery, perjury and misconduct. An anti-gang unit was formed against them to sniff out the corrupt cops. In this viciously honest tale, Dave Brown is caught by the anti-corruption league and till the end of his life, he finds ways of redemption.

The movie focuses on his internal investigation methods and code of conduct with criminals. The squad is suspicious about him, and to catch this man red-handed, the members keep a close watch on him. Dave gets caught on tape that puts forward a very strange side to him. In this video, he beats a black man and that is enough to indict him. Things start going against him, but he boldly stays with his wife and ex-wife, who were real sisters before their union with this policeman.

He continues with his strange methods and sleeps with female legal prosecutors. He also keeps women behind bars and no anti corruption league could affect his ways. He does all those things that are forbidden for a cop, even making a final attempt to get more money. Will he be able to deceive the anti-corruption league and gather money to become more powerful?
