Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead is a comedy movie centered on a man named Julian Marsh. Julian is shown as an unemployed person who has been dumped by a girl.
As the film progresses, Julian is seen getting the job of a director. He directs a remake of Shakespeare's play ‘Hamlet.’ But this version of Hamlet is way too different as compared to one that the world has always known. Much to the surprise of everyone, Julian casts his former girlfriend and a pal in the lead. But Julian has no idea about what his fate has in store for him. This play is actually the venture of a group of vampires, who are way too attractive as far as their looks are concerned. Soon he finds himself exploring the link between Shakespeare, the Holy Grail and the strikingly attractive vampires. So, the job that was given to Julian was not at all as simple as it looked like. Now, not only does he have to trace the Grail to reverse a curse, he also has to survive the fury of vampires, for whom killing a human is a part of their routine. An encounter with deadly consequences is likely if the man does not succeed in solving this problem, which dates back to almost a thousand years.
Amidst all these problems and a few probable solutions pondered upon by Julian, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead is a laugh riot, which is beyond comparison. The film shows Julian's life being thrown into turmoil for absolutely no fault of his.
