Sammy's Adventures: The Secret Passage

A turtle named Sammy and the adventures that he undergoes, form the subject matter of Sammy’s Adventures- A Secret Passage. His life from 1959 to 2009 forms the backbone of this enchanting 3D animated tale. As time progresses, he falls in love with a female turtle called Shelly.

Everything is going wonderfully until the time when he loses Shelly in the ocean .In the wake of this accident, Sammy comes to know about a secret passage to a utopian island called ‘Lapagose’. Both of the buddies start finding the route to Lapagose. Sadly, Ray falls prey to a fishnet and the friends are distanced from each other. As the story continues, Sammy finds a family where another female turtle comes up in the form of Vera. But things do not work out and Sammy is again back into the sea. After many marine adventures and activities, Sammy gets a glimpse of Shelly, his long lost love. But this sight is short lived and Shelly again disappears.

Now Sammy decides to find Shelly. In this voyage, he gets the assistance of Monster Sharks, Piranhas and humans as well. Sammy heads towards Antarctica and that is the time where he experiences the effects of human in the form of global warming and effect of green house gases. He also witnesses the ill effects of human involvement in this wonderful sea life. As he circumnavigates the globe, human destructive methods leading to pollution, is portrayed in a superb manner. The 50 years’ life of Sammy reveals the ugly side of human advancement and progress.
