Skjult ( Hidden ) is a psychological horror-thriller that will take you to the era of 1980s. The Norwegian movie revolves around the protagonist Kai Koss who has had a troubled past, and did all that he could have done to overcome the pains of the past.
But sometimes you just can’t escape from something. Kai who breaks free from the clutches of his cruel and abusive mother unintentionally causes an accident that takes away two innocent lives. Precisely speaking, a couple dies in this accident, leaving behind their only son who witnesses their meeting with ill luck. A terribly shocked Kai crosses the woods, and reaches some other place. After two decades of the past haunting him, he gets the news of his mother’s death that forces him to visit the same old spooky town in order to be assured of his mother’s death, and to become the heir of the family-estate. As he returns back, all the good and bad experiences overpower his mind, and he inexplicably gets haunted by weird sounds and unexplained figures.
Failing to forget the unpleasant memories, and depressed due to the bizarre incidents, he concludes that the child who lost his parents in that unfortunate accident could be the reason behind all this. Will he be able to figure out who is responsible for such incidents? Will he be able to get away from them? The answers lie in the movie, which is one big entertainment package!
