Standing Ovation

Standing Ovation is a movie about a dream - a dream to capture the world and carve a niche for yourself and for your loving buddies. It’s about making it big! Five girls, namely Brittany, Blaze, Maya, Cameron and Tatiana, have been the best of friends, since their childhood.

They study in a junior high school, in Atlantic City. Their aim is to grab the winner’s trophy and the ‘one million dollar worth’ title, of a music video contest. And so, they leave no stone unturned to make it to the big one. They name their band ‘The 5 Ovations’. But, the journey towards the big treat is not as easy as it appears to be. It takes a lot of effort and determination to kill it! Killing it will also be a matter of worry, as their competitors or rivals will not leave any margin for them to overpower the show. The rival band is named ‘The Wiggies’ headed by Mr. Wiggs. The band members include Twiggy, Ziggy, Zoey, Zita and Angel, who’re all set to give their best shot and win the title. After all, one million dollar is no small amount and it matters as much to them, as it does to the 5 Ovations.

The 5 Ovations pull up their socks and get ready for the big event, which can change their lives forever. The stage is set, but will they be able to set the stage on fire? Or will the prize and the prestigious title fall in place for The Wiggies? May the best man win!
