The movie ‘Terri’ revolves around an isolated orphaned boy named Terri. He has lived a forlorn life with no one even noticing him in a positive way.
He has always been a subject of ridicule, and has mostly been teased by his so-called friends. His teachers don’t have much time for him or things he does. Terri’s life is of a complete loner’s and he feels he is unwanted in this world. His life at home too is marred by difficulties – an ailing uncle doesn’t help his situation much. But things improve slightly when Terri’s vice principal notices some similarity between Terri and himself. Mr. Fitzgerald, the vice principal, decides to help the boy by forging an unlikely friendship with him. He teaches Terri that sometimes it can be helpful to share few things in life. Terri befriends Chad and Heather, two students who just like him happen to be social outcasts.
There is nothing wrong in opening yourself up, and although the three are very different in nature, they open up to each other and forge a relationship that helps them recover from their sardonic life. Working its way through heartfelt moment and humor that is poignant, the film Terri touches one’s heart deeply.
