The Chaperone

The Chaperone is an action-packed comedy which shows a person quitting his profession of a criminal, in order to lead a life of virtues and to take care of his family. The story revolves around the character Ray Bradstone, who is shown as a person who drives the car of a gang of robbers, helping them accomplish robberies.

The gang is headed by Phillip Larue, the character played by Kevin Corrigan. Ray and his wife Lynne have split, and Ray has a daughter named Sally, whom he loves a lot. In order to be a nice father and to make up for his wrongdoings, he plans to quit the work that he is into. The gang leader, Phillip, asks him to accompany the team of robbers on one last robbery, after which, he can quit the job. Just when Ray is all set to go for this final robbery, his inner self doesn’t approve of it. Instead, he plans to take up the role of a caretaker to Sally’s friends as they set out on a school trip. The gangsters execute the robbery without Ray and are unable to escape after committing this heinous crime. In order to avenge this, Phillip decides to chase Ray.

Now, when his daughter is out with her friends, Ray has to keep a balance between keeping Phillip at bay and taking care of the innocent children. Will he be able to do all this successfully? Or will his past come over to haunt him, keeping him from being a good father? The answers lie in The Chaperone itself!
