Destiny often brings a person to a juncture, where he is least able to make out the meaning of life and its myriad phases.

Matt King, a business magnate who deals in land, faces a dilemma when he wasn’t anticipating even a shred of it. After his wife, Elizabeth slips into coma post an accident, Matt is fraught with the challenge of acting as a supporting pillar in the lives of their two daughters. This crisis requires him to make his presence conspicuous to his daughters. In a bid to pull them out of the mess and pacify them, Matt takes them for a trip from Oahu to Kauai. It’s here that Matt bumps into Lillard, a man who dabbles in land as well. Nothing less than a thunderbolt befalls Matt when he comes to know that his wife was having an affair with Lillard, prior to her accident.

How would a husband come to terms with the extra-marital affair of his wife, while she is unconscious and oblivious to it all? This shocking revelation would not only affect Matt’s marital haven, but also pose a bigger question. Would sympathy for the current state of Elizabeth drown the injustice that Matt has been meted by her?
