Twenty years prior to 140 AD, the entire Ninth Legion had mysteriously disappeared in the mountains of Scotland. Marcus Aquila, a young Roman officer is the son of the commander of the Legion and wants to resolve the mystery and restore the tarnished reputation of his father.
