The Proposal

The Proposal is a romantic comedy, which beautifully depicts the story of an over-ambitious boss, who pushes an employee to marry her so that she can avoid her return to Canada.Margaret Tate is running a New York publication house and her career is on peaks, but one day she receives a letter from an immigration office telling her to leave US, because she is not a permanent citizen.In order to stay in the US, she eventually decides to marry Andrew Paxton, an employee in her firm, who wants to become an editor in the publishing house.Later on in the movie, a cynical INS representative tests the couple, and realizes that the statements made by the two are contradictory.The representative realizes that they need time to know each other better, and gives them just that.Thus, the couple embarks on a journey to get to know each other better.They travel to Sitka, Alaska, to celebrate the birthday of Andrew's grandmother.Andrew's family gives Margaret a warm welcome resulting in the couple growing fonder of each other in the end.So, if you like happy endings, then view The Proposal video right here.
