The movie is all about a normal looking guy, whose luck seems to have turned its face from him. Charlie Newton has an eccentric day job as a crime scene cleaner and has been the stock of jokes, from every arrogant investigator, for years. As a couple of unconcerned detectives, by the name of Henry and Carlita, examine a series of killings taking place in the hipster town of East Los Angeles, Charlie is the one who emerges as the true hero.
