The Troll Hunter

Hans, the poacher, is the suspicious character in the story, who is allegedly a bear hunter. A set of students decide that they are going to catch the culprit red-handed. They will film him, when he is actually attacking a bear.

Enthusiastically and with a lot of excitement, they go to Hans and urge him to talk to them, so that they can make a short film on his hunting. When Hans refuses to pay any heed to them, they decide to follow him into the forest. En route, they are shocked and taken aback by what they see and hear. The terrible sound of a huge animal, unlike a bear, gives them a jolt. They also see some dazzling lights and suddenly they find Hans screaming “Troll” and running towards his car. At first they do not understand what’s happening, but suddenly, they realize that they could be eaten by this huge animal, that is now very close to them. They don’t know where to go, because their own car has been overturned and the tires have been eaten. They are also very terrified, because they are Christians and Hans had told them that the Troll loved Christian blood!

They are too shocked to say another word, as they actually see a humongous troll with three heads, barging towards them. But, lady luck is on their side, as they see the Troll turning to stone. There is a twist in the story, as the students now decide that they would cooperate with Hans, who is out to destroy the Troll, before it destroys them.
