‘The Ugly Truth’ is a romantic comedy directed by Robert Luketic.The movie sheds light on the unusual relationship between producer Abby Richter and correspondent of a morning show, Mike Chadway.At the start of movie, Abby is living a disastrous life, where even her professional life is not going well.Her boss desires to end her show because of its poor ratings, which is when he has a brainwave and decides to call in a local cable call-in host Mike.At first sight, Mike and Abby dislike each other.Abby believes that Mike is disgusting and pig-headed, while Mike considers Abby a control freak.But as time moves, they both end up making a deal with each other.The deal states that Abby has to work with Mike to improve the show and in return, Mike would help her in entrancing her neighbor, Colin, a hunky doctor.Eventually, when Abby starts working with Mike, the ratings start escalating and with Mike’s help, Colin also starts showing interest in Abby.The Ugly Truth video reveals, that in the end, just before the rolling of credits, they accept their feeling for each other.
