With a wife as stunningly gorgeous as Angelina Jolie, any man, no matter how handsome, should be ready to have all glances drawn away from him, and fixed on his lady. That’s exactly what happened as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made an appearance at the recent New York Film Critics Circle Awards, at which Brad was nominated in the Best Actor category.

As they sashayed down the red carpet, the shutterbugs flashed away at Angelina, as she sported an incredibly stylish and classy outfit, while Brad gladly took the backseat on the occasion. We do not think that he minded it, considering that he is going through a lull phase on the health front, having met with a skiing accident, which left him with an injured leg and the need for a cane stick to support him while walking.

While Brad limped his way through the ceremony, with an understated two-piece blue suit, his wife made up for his disappointing look, by looking every bit the glam queen, in a well-fitted black leather skirt, which she paired with a lush silk blouse in white.  Adhering to her usual elegance, she accessorized the outfit with just a hint of color, by sporting some envy-evoking emerald jewelry, which struck out beautifully against the dull colors of her outfit. She completed the look with chic black heels and a classic black clutch. Now that’s what we call a woman with panache!

The trouble that Brad went through to attend the award ceremony paid off, as he took home the Best Actor award for his role in ‘Money ball and The Tree of Life’.The rather drab accessory of a cane seems to be working as a lucky charm for him, as he bagged an award at both the occasions where he sported it. The previous one was just a week back, when he was awarded with the Desert Palm Achievement award for the same movie. Attaboy!
